Coming early 2022 is our UK arrival with DHL shipping from mainland UK with an increasing number of beautiful jewelry pieces previewed throughout 2021.
Where will YAN Jewellery be shipped from?
YAN Jewellery will be shipped directly from the design studio of our artist in mainland UK.
How much will DHL shipping cost?
Shipping will be free of charge, our DHL shipping costs will include applicable import fees included in the price of products.
How will YAN Jewellery be shipped worldwide?
YAN Jewellery has selected DHL Express worldwide import delivery with DHL incurred duty and taxes paid by us. Our delivery service believes in providing no hassle worldwide shipment with door to door delivery from us to our customers.
Will I have to pay additional Customs VAT and Duty?
YAN Jewellery will ship with Incoterm DDP Delivery Duty Paid, we will cover all additional standard customs charges costs incurred by DHL for faster delivery to you.
Where will YAN Jewellery ship to?
YAN Jewellery will ship to the United States of America, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as Europe including Norway and Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Bahrain, UAE, Turkey and Saudi Arabia among many other countries.
YAN Jewellery ships to DHL European Zones EU 1-3, Asian Pacific Zones AP 1-2, North American Zone AM 1, Western Asian Zone MA1 including most European, Australasian, North American and Western Asian located countries.
Supported countries are shown as supported at checkout, we do not currently ship to countries outside of these zones.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times are 4 – 8 days.
Where do I track the status of my shipment?
If you have provided us with an SMS enabled phone number and email address you will receive regular updates on the status of the shipment.
Please visit www.dhl.co.uk with your tracking number to check on the latest status of your package.
I have not received my jewellery what do I do?
Our delivery service delivers to the address delivered at time of purchase and supports up to 2 redelivery’s if you establish contact with the delivery driver via the information provided to you by DHL.
Shipping information is labelled with the customers address which is entered at the point of purchase, we will take all reasonable measures to ensure jewellery arrives at the address which is given to us, if an address is entered incorrectly we will enquire with DHL to assist in tracking though we cannot take responsibility for receipt of product when wrong address is used, if in the event goods are returned to us after delivery to a wrong address we will assist in resending at customer liability for repayment of repeat shipping costs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is every design of jewellery always available? |
Jewellery is limited in supply by natural availability of gemstones which meet our standards for use. Some designs which incorporate multiple types of natural gemstone and those which make use of more rare types are more likely to be limited, in the event that sufficient gemstones for a design are no longer available we will temporarily limit sale. |
Are the gemstones natural? |
All YAN Jewellery gemstones are naturally sourced. Our gemstones – Aquamarine, Kyanite and Tourmaline are treated with resin to aid in milling and polishing, all product pages list this treatment where applicable. Our precious wood collection and our three examples of faux cinnabar collection are not gemstones – precious woods are naturally sourced, faux cinnabar is a traditional decorative adornment used widely across Asia. |
Where are your gemstones sourced? |
Gemstones are sourced from around the world we select only those suppliers whose samples we receive meet our standards for quality and effective price to quality considerations. |
How is your jewellery made? |
Design inspiration is from our designer an accomplished traditional arts painter who hand assembles each piece at time of this writing 2020, if there any changes to this model we will update information in due course. |
What silver is used in Yan Jewellery? |
We use international grade S925 S990 and S999 standard silver parts in our jewellery the grade is marked on the individual silver piece and the grade corresponds to the silver content of the piece. The minimum grade of silver used for silver components is S925 and the pendants use higher grades where stated. |
Why is your jewellery priced at this price point? |
Price is based on the quality of the gemstones and silver selected to be used in the piece among other considerations including availability of resources and time. |
Where will my jewellery be sent from? |
Coming early 2022 jewellery will be sent directly from our designers design studio in the UK. |
How is your jewellery packaged? |
Each of our pieces is packed in an airtight plastic ziplock bag enclosed in a custom fabric jewellery case which is encased in bubble wrap. |
What can I do if I don’t like the jewellery I received? |
We abide to UK consumer protection laws which include a 14 day cooling off period commencement from date of receipt of goods till 14 days after receipt of goods, upon the return of goods to our UK address we will refund the cost of purchase. |
What do I do if my jewellery has a problem? |
The natural gemstones used in our products are formed through natural process that is inherit to their formation and their beauty and we have selected gemstones that reach our standards for jewellery and we deem to be beautiful, in additional to natural formation the gemstones outer surfaces have been polished and milled into shape and quality suitable for jewellery use. We vouch the outer machined surface of each gemstone to be without problem, in the unlikely event that a gemstone has a problem please contact us to arrange for a return of goods to our UK address and a refund. |
Will I receive the exact same jewellery shown in the photos? |
You will receive a unique and beautiful natural gemstone jewellery piece made according to the design of the piece shown in the photographs on the store page, it will have almost the same gemstones type quality and size as the piece in the photograph. Where differences exist they will only be in the natural differences that are exhibited in the natural gemstones used in our products, fossilized coral, cherry flower and scenic agate types do exhibit an amazing range of natural patterning which will be different to the pieces used in the store photographs, though these differences will be uniquely beautiful to each product. |

Can I get allergic reactions to silver parts and gemstones? |
The gemstones we use in our products have been used extensively in many types of contact jewellery around the world, we use high purity silver in our precious metal components doing the utmost to reduce the risk of allergy. |
Where should I keep my jewellery? |
We provide a sealed plastic bag in addition to our sealable custom linen jewellery box, we recommend storing jewellery in the provided plastic bag in order to avoid silver parts discolouring over time. |

If needing to return an item please contact us with your name, e-mail address and reason for return.
We will then send the UK registered address details to dispatch the returned item to, please note that while in the event that an item is damaged we will cover reasonable return shipping costs we do not cover return shipping costs where you have decided to reconsider a purchase within the 14 days cooling off period.
